MAGNETIC COIL LOCATOR/THREAD PROTECTOR
Magnetic Coil Locators have a threaded steel core with a powerful neodymium magnet built into the base. The base has a square pocket machined into it for the ½" drive removal tool. The core is encased in a urethane shell for easy removal from the concrete.
Magnetic locators are used to mount Coil thread protector to a steel form, instead of drilling holes. The magnetic base is 2-5/8" wide and recesses the coil insert by ½ inch. Magnet base is removed from the concrete using a ½" drive ratchet.
